Model: OC300
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

Hello!

We need your help to understand the controller, please.

We bought 1x OC 300 Controller and 6 EAP670 AccessPoints.

The OC300 see no EAP devices.

Goal:

- we will run the AccessPoints in a own VLAN (30).

- The SSIDs have to run on own VLANS (Guest 31, Corp 32, Devices 33).

We have a FirewallRouter (no TP Link) whitch is doing the DHCP of this VLANS.

We plugged the left Port oft the OC300 to our Switch (no TPLINK) Port with VLAN 1 untagged default, VLAN 30, 31, 32, 33 tagged)

We plugged the AccessPoint to thhe Switch Port with VLAN 30 untagged default, VLAN 31,32,33 tagged.

But the OC300 see no devices.

We configured VLANs on the OC300 as interface with the VLAN IDs.

How can we use this devices?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Phil

If your VLAN are not isolated... you can log into the device (APs or switches, whatever) GUI and set the inform the link back to the controller.

OC controller doesnt see devices across vlans.  You have plug the main port of the controller into the trunked port VLAN 30.

You will need to set untagged VLAN 30 (set it to access VLAN 30) on a port and plug the Omada Controller into it.

  @KimcheeGUN

Hi! So i have to plug one Port of the OC300 to my Switch with VLAN 1 (default LAN) for access the OC300 for management, and the 2nd Port of the OC300 to my switch with VLAN 30 untagged and the VLAN 31,32,33 tagged? Or just one Port to VLAN 1 and other Port to VLAN 30, both untagged, access?

Best regards,

Phil
