Model: TL-SG3452
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: TL-SG3452(UN)_V1.6_1.1.7 Build 20230206

Since we installed this switch we noticed that the bottom part burns to the touch, it is not possible to hold the hand for more than 2 seconds, the equipment is completely new and updated to the latest version, it has not yet received a workload, a new one is being assembled New network with Vlans, nothing too demanding.

Does anyone have experience with this?

We had to leave the rack off because we are afraid that the damage will worsen.

We estimate a temperature of 80 degrees or more at the bottom of the device. It is racked and separated from the rest.

estimated ambient temperature 35 degrees.

In the same rack there is a MK RB4011 that is also hot but can be held in your hand, in addition there are 6 eap 265 hd poes.

suggestions?

Hi @BruMa

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

You might add some fans to it because this model is fanless and it is a 52-port.

Ambient temp is around 35 Celsius, which might be pretty hot for people. Not to mention this is a fanless model. If it is kept in a bad air flow environment, it might become hot after a while.
