Hello all, 

 

Today I installed two EAP660 connected wired, worked perfectly.

 

Suddenly disconnected, isolated, and connected wireless to a nearby AP.

 

(the mesh function at the controller is enabled, I dont know if this matter)

 

The AP seems that it cant see the wired connection.

 

Should I forget it and re adopt? 

 

Should I turn off MESH ?

 

Something else?

If a hardwired AP is trying to mesh... that means it's getting POE but no DATA from the cable.  More than likely your cable is bad or your switch port maybe going bad.

thank you for your reply!

 

Its not working with POE , power adaptor (the one included in the package) and utp for data

the cable is brand new... and the switch new, but port maybe bad.

 

i will check that. Any other thoughts?

Hey, disable the Mesh if you don't need EAPs connected wirelessly. And if the cable or the port is bad, the EAP will show Disconnected. 

If so, make sure the physical connection is OK and readopt EAPs.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
