ER7212PC VLAN - unable to ping each other (via wired)
Hi support,
I have both desktop and notebook connected (via wire) to ER7212PC (latest FW @ v1.1.1) configured fresh from a factory reset.
Desktop -> port #6 -> 192.168.0.100 (default network)
Notebook -> port #12 -> 192.168.10.2 (manually created network with VLAN ID @ 10)
However, both desktop and notebook unable to ping each other (without any ACL setup). All the above IPs are issued by it's respective DHCP.
Troubleshooting
I connect my notebook to port #6 and get assigned with 192.168.0.101. In this scenario, both parties are able to ping each (as expected since same subnet).
Desktop @ 192.168.0.100 able to ping the gateway @ 192.168.10.1
Notebook @ 192.168.10.2 able to ping the gateway @ 192.168.0.1
Further testing
Created ACL:
- Gateway / LAN-LAN / Permit / All protocol / Bi-directional
- Switch / Permit / All protocol / Bi-directional
Still, I'm unable to ping either direction with the ACL enabled.
Any other methods/setup that I overlook?
Thanks
