Obtaining IP address
We are experiencing an issue with our VPN router ER8411, where some of our authorized clients receive a notification on their mobile devices that reads "IP obtaining - no IP allocation." As a result, the clients are disconnected from the internet.
The only solution we have found so far is to restart the VPN router, and things work fine for the time being.
We had a similar problem with our previous TL-ER7206 router and were advised by a TP-link engineer to upgrade to ER8411. After upgrading, the issue was resolved, and in the past 7 months, we had no issues, but we have been facing the same problem since last week with ER8411.
If we want to continue using the Omada platform every 6 months, we must go through old hardware (router), migrate to new hardware.
