Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.6

Hello,

I see that in VIGI Security Manager Motion detection recording works only on SD Card. Is there any way how to use it on the Servers local disk? Currently on the Server (Windows Server 2022) the camera records in continuous mode.

Hi @david_ooo

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

When Windows installed VSM is working, it cannot save the video clips to the local disk. It only supports continuous recordings.

 Hi @Clive_A

Is there any other solution how to save clips in the Windows Server environment with motion detection?

We have also have in our environment VIDI cameras without support of SD Card (C340 series) and we do not want to collect huge amount of unnecessary (I mean videos with static view) data on the server. Playing them and investigating videos, where in 95% cases nothing happens, is hard and wastes our time.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Consider the VIGI NVR. So far it is a proprietary feature.
