Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

Internet usage occurs during periods when the device is not in use. Data packages are running out. That's why we want to turn off the internet outside of usage hours, that is, during a certain time period. I would appreciate it if you could inform us about the settings to be made in this regard.

Hi, except for the wireless schedule mentioned by terziyski, please note that even though no client device is connected to the router, the router will still consume data because it needs to communicate with the mobile carrier to stay online.

And if client devices are still connected but you are not actively using internet, there are usually still background process running which still consume data, so to minimize unnecessary data usage, ensure client devices are disconnected from the router when not using.

You could also disable mobile data manually on the router when not using: on Advanced > Network > Internet page:

There's a feature to schedule wirelss access to the router ON/OFF:

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
