Model: Archer AX23   RE315
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I would like design home network that use primarly ethernet cables for wifi extenders. I think I will need 4 devices for wifi signal to cover my house area. I already have Archer ax23 from my previous flat, but there is no need to use it necesarrly. As I know, this router supports Easy Mesh, but I really am not sure, if supports this function with Ethethenet backhaul and 4 extenders? Also, I have found only RE 315 supports ethernet backhaul for now and it is limited ?

So, I have two questions. Will work AX23 together with 4pcs of RE315 on ethernet backhaul? If not what devices -  router + satelites(extenders) do you recond for ethernet backhaul at the moment?

Thanks for advices

Hi,

Archer AX23 and RE315 both supports EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, it is okay for AX23 to work with 4 pcs of RE315.

Except for the RE315, you could also use other EasyMesh routers that support Ethernet Backhaul already as satellite routers of AX23, check this thread of the router model list: EasyMesh Routers Support Building a EasyMesh Network via Ethernet Backhaul NOW
