We have just received a report from out pen-testers, who tell us that we have something like 1000 network ports open on our external address; I assume this means our router has something listening on those ports, although I can't rule out that there is some additional hardware between our router and the ISP. Is it to be expected that the TL-ER7206 has those ports open, and if so, what can I do to close them?

A quick update publicly. We don't reproduce the issue with your config in our lab. Dev failed to find all the ports open.
We believe this is an issue with your network environment.

Update to anyone who is looking for help on the similar issue:
Current situation: dev did not reproduce the same issue with his backup. Consider this a problem with the user environment, not the system fault. Ask for remote debug but no further replies.
