ER605 Standalone Connects to Internet but fails when bening managed by Omada Controller OC200
Hi,
Having some issues with getting internet (WAN) connection working when using the OC200 Omada Controller for an ER605v2, if I use the ER605 in standalone mode with the same settings set as what I do in the controller when the ER605 is adopted it failes to connect.
I have hard reset, power on, force etc. multiple times however I am just not able to resolve so hoping for some assistance.
Details are:
Router: ER605v2 Firmware Version 2.2.3 Build 20231201 Rel.32918
Controller: OC200 - OC200 1.0, Controller Version 5.13.30.20, Firmware Version 1.29.4 Build 20240304 Rel.54362
The following shows the setup to the Omada Controller vs what was setup and working in the Router which connects with no issue at all in standalone.

Could you try to upgrade both the controller and ER605 V2 to the latest firmware and see whether it works?
Please download the latest firmware from our official websites below:
For ER605 V2, please upgrade to ER605(UN)_V2_2.2.4 Build 20240119.
For OC200 V1, please upgrade to OC200(UN)_V1_1.29.21 Build 20240401.
And here is the instruction to upgrade the controller. Please back up your file before upgrading.
If rather, please also try to MAC clone one of your other device such as PC's MAC address and try again.

Hi @Hank21,
Thanks heaps, I have updated both the Controller and Router to the latest as suggested however this unfortunately did not resolve. I reset the Router and re-provisioned from scratch and this unfortunately still did not resolve. I have checked the applciaiton results from the deployment and this also shows AOK so I am really lost as to why now it does not work.

Have you tried power cycling your modem?
I had a similar issue where my internet connection would work when plugged into a Netgear router/AP combo unit, but when I plugged it into my ER8411 that was being managed by an OC300 it wouldn't show any activity. After completely wiping and rebuilding the router and controller several times, I tried cycling power to the modem, and that cleared it right up.
Different hardware, so it might not be it, but it might be worth a try if you haven't yet.

@BHJohnson Thanks heaps, its not actually a bad idea since memory or other could be holding ontop something invalid however alas it did not resolve for me :(.
Spend a good 5 hours trying different ways to resolve but did not resolve so I will document them below (May give @Hank21 or @BHJohnson another idea for me ;D)
1: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the Er605v2, created initial account, accessed oc200 controller, adopted and applied fresh config, confirmed no errors in deployment (application Beta) tab.
2: Force Re-Adopt to sync settings from oc200 Controller.
3: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the oc200, Force Re-Adopt of Er605v2.
3: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the Er605v2, oc200, initial setup in Er605v2 to get oc200 IP and applied fresh config for all.
4: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the Er605v2, oc200, initial setup in Er605v2 to get oc200 IP and applied fresh config for all.disconnected power for 5min and restart both Er605v2 & oc200
5: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the Er605v2, oc200, found oc200 ip without initial logon to Er605v2 and made fresh config , disconnected power for 5min and restart both Er605v2 & oc200
6: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the Er605v2, oc200 & SG2210MP (Jetsream Switch), initial setup in Er605v2 to get oc200 IP and applied fresh config for all.disconnected power for 5min and restart all three Er605v2, oc200 & SG2210MP
7: Hard Reset (Front Reset pin) the Er605v2, oc200 & SG2210MP (Jetsream Switch), found oc200 ip without initial logon to Er605v2 and made fresh config for all.disconnected power for 5min and restart all three Er605v2, oc200 & SG2210MP.
(Note: that all of the above have both been with using the default MAC address for the Er605 and MAC override to align with previous tp link vx220 modem.router
