Model: TL-SG105E
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 6

I am trying to network two Elegoo 3d printers to my laptop using a TL-SG105E switch without using a router. I am running Ubuntu 22.04.4 on my laptop. I'd like to be able to access the 3d printers and transfer files and even control them if there is software to do so. Please let me know what I can do.

Thank you in advance,

Shawn

Hi @tsisaris

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

1. Set up a static IP or if you have a router in this setup, you will get a DHCP IP.

If you don't have an IP, set a static IP to fit the subnet of the default IP of the switch.

2. Use either the DHCP IP or the default IP if you set a static IP without a router setup.

Try out this IG which shows you the default IP and how to.
