Model: VIGI NVR1008H-8P  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 230530 Rel.79659n

I have installed (and reset factory settings).

 

model: VIGI NVR1008H-8P(UN) 1.0

firmware: 1.0.1 Build 230530 Rel.79659n

DHCP enabled.

 

LAN access website:

OK

 

Bind TP link cloud:

NO. Error: "Request Timed out"

 

 

Add NVR via VIGI android mobile app:

NO. Error: "Current firmware does not support adding. Upgrade to latest version"

 

Tried:

Factory reset

multiple web browsers - firefox, chrome

firmware upgrade - already latest. there is no update.

 

Is there a hardware limitation of this product version 1.0 that it doesn't support Vigi mobile app & TP link cloud?

 

I read this but it doesn't help since they suggest factory reset (already done that & it doesn't fix it)

Upgrade manually via the web GUI: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/vigi-nvr1008h-8p/#Firmware

 

Then repeat the steps to add it again.

Clive thank you yes new firmware fixes this.

 

I had already checked the firmware website but I mistakenly looked at bottom of page & thought I was already on the latest firmware.

 

It works now & bound to my TP link id & i can view remotely easy. thanks!
