Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2

Dear TP-Link Support Team,

I am a user of the TP-Link Deco XE75 mesh system and I would like to request support for DNS over HTTPS (DoH) or DNS over TLS (DoT) in future firmware updates, alongside the ability for customers to add their own DNS resolver. Currently, while the Deco XE75 supports basic DNS settings configuration, the addition of DoH or DoT support would greatly enhance security and privacy for users by encrypting their DNS queries.

Allowing customers to add their own DNS resolver would provide flexibility and choice in selecting secure DNS services. This feature is increasingly important for protecting privacy and preventing DNS-based attacks.

Implementing DoH or DoT support and enabling custom resolver options on the Deco XE75 would not only align TP-Link with current standards in network security but also empower users to configure their networks according to their specific needs and preferences.

I kindly request that TP-Link considers these enhancements in future updates for the Deco XE75. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to any updates regarding these features.

Best regards,

PeekAboo

Any update TP-Link? Since you are already adding features like:- Added the ability to customize the MTU. Support for NO-IP and DynDNS. It's No-brainer to add support for DoH and DoT in the same feature set wave for all the devices. In many countries ISPs block website under Governement Order - In such situations DoH can help bypass such restriction. + Added the pricacy benefits from Government as well as ISPs.
