ER605 Site to Site
Hello,
I'll explain my problem.
We have 2 factories, each with fiber connections.
We have TP LinK ER605 routers on each connection.
I would like to create a Site to site VPN to make a single LAN, to exchange files between computers, servers and machines between the 2 factories.
I find information and tutorials, but it changes a lot depending on the versions, so I don't want to make a mistake, could you please help me and explain how I can set this up?
If you need additional information, don't hesitate.
Thanks for the help
Phil

Hi @Phil0075503
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
How to Set up Site-to-Site Manual IPsec VPN Tunnels on Omada Gateway in Controller Mode
Steps are pretty much the same in standalone mode. I recall that there are Youtube videos made by our fans and these tutorials work great for new users.

Hi,
I'm not sure how "licensed Cloud controller" works tbh, always used HW one.
1st, you know that for IPsec connection, you will need public IPs from ISP on both routers? Do you have it?
2nd, could you share a screenshots of your problem with licenses? blurr any sensitive data ofc.
3rd, in general, you don't need a omada controller to set up VPN connetion between those two routers. It will work in Standalone Mode as well, but the configuration can't be done remotely then.
Cheers :)

Hi Cliv, Thanks for your reply, sorry I didn't take the time to move forward on my topic. I logged in to Omada Cloud, I'm in a 30-day trial period with 10 licenses. I installed my first ER605 Router on Omada Cloud, it appears well, but it remains preconfigured and in an inactive license. However, I have activated my 10 licenses, but nothing to do, I can't activate the license for this device (additional information, I'm on the very latest version of the firmware). Can you help me activate the license on the router? Thanks Phil
No. The 10 free trial licenses are activated regardless of the usage. They start to count down on the day you require them. Which means you activated it on this month's 1st, it will expire on the 31st regardless of whatsoever.
Preconfigured status and fix can be found on the FAQ about adding the device to the Cloud-based Controller. Please search for this on the official website, FAQ.
