Hello,

I'm interested in the EAP655 Wall Plate, but I have a question.

If I assign a VLAN to a downlink ETH port, will it be tagged or untagged?

Can you help me? The device I need to connect to the ETH port doesn't support tagged VLAN.

Thank you very much

@er2 Seems that's out of date

This is what it looks like on controller 5.14.x+ and 1.3:

Hi  @er2

We can configure VLAN ID for the ETH ports.

If there is no tagged or untagged option, it will be untagged.

It will work for your device.

Each port supports PVID, Untagged, and Tagged VLAN configuration. I just set the PVID for my basic devices connected (e.g., a printer) ... unsure if I need to also set something in untagged...

@GoodOmens I can't find any tagged/untagged settings on the emulator page of the EAP655 GUI:

But I've just found this article, and it seems VLANs are always untagged: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/3312/
