Hello everyone,
on our ER8411 v1.0 router we have configured an SSL VPN with Radius authentication which works very well and allows us to manage user access from the outside.
Question, before I venture into some tests that may not be effective :D, is it possible to create another VPN server with direct authentication on the router?
The requirement could be valid if the active directory were to go down, even IT would be cut off from access from the outside and, instead, a backdoor directly on the router would be convenient.

you can create an OpenvPN Server if you need a backdoor, you have to make sure you use different ports on SSL and OpenVPN Server

Thanks for the very quick response, yes this was my idea.. so could it be achieved "peacefully"?
VPN --> Create New Vpn Policy --> Purpose "Client-to-Site VPN" - VPN type "openvpn" - Service Port "clearly different from the other" and then I export the certificate

Thank you so much, in fact it was cosmic nonsense, i was scared thinking of creating some complications.
Running time=  2 minutes (changed port and IP class)... ahhaha

Thank you

It's always good to ask if you have any doubts.

I have set like 2 OpenVPN servers and 1 WireGuard on one ER707-M2.

Each OVPN has different configurations (users/ accesses/ports) as well as totally different config than WireGuard.

Works fine, no issues here.
