EAP235-Wall, the continuing saga?
EAP235-Wall, the continuing saga?

So the EAP-235 wall.... still on firmware 3.1.1. A newer firmware was released a while ago (but only for US and EU), and all other threads were locked since the issue was supposedly solved. Then the new firmware was pulled due to bugs, the thread deleted, and all other threads discussing it were left locked. Any news when we might get an update?

Hi @nixcamic
The EAP is the Canada version. You need to wait for the update.
In the meantime, I will push our relevant team to release it as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

So it's been several years and my devices are still on a buggy firmware version. If yall have no interest in updating the firmware could you at least do a trade in program or give me credit towards a new device? I'm glad I just used Omada at home to test how it compares to other solutions instead of rolling it out at a clients site.

Also, look at @d0ugmac1's signature. I'm not the only one this affects, or the only one being put off buying Omada in the future due to the complete lack of regard for Canadian customers. To be clear, this is a router currently listed for sale on the Canadian TPLink website, that ships with a buggy firmware version that hasnt been updated in two years and that does not support all the listed features on the website.
