Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.2.6 Build 20240718 Rel.82712

I have the following hardware:

ER605 v2.0

SG2428P v5.20

EAP613(US) v1.0

EAP610(US) v1.0

With the following vlans:

Default vlan

IoT vlan

Cameras vlan

I have setup ACL to let main vlan access IoT vlan, I am able to access and ping devices from main vlan to IoT vlan but I cannot access my printer which is on the IoT vlan.

I also have setup mdns to let bonjour devices to "connect" to each other.

What else can be done?

Hi @HaSrT1206

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Explained that ACL would stop the mDNS from performing its duty. Consider a second rule to allow mDNS.

HP Printers need two-way communication. First make sure all device ports are tagged correctly on the ER605 and SG2428P. This includes the UPLINK port and Device Port on the SG2428P. If the HP Printer allows, also make sure the correct VLAN is set. Also, set the printer IP to a Static IP from IoT VLAN.

Next you will need two access rules:

  1. MAIN VLAN to IoT VLAN (or IoT Device)
  2. IoT VLAN (or IoT Device) to MAIN VLAN
