EAP245 WiFi suddenly stops working with max. band usage
Hi there,
every once in a while (approx. once a month) I get this weird bug where suddenly all devices connected to my EAP245 lose their WiFi connection. The WiFi is working perfectly fine moments before, but then suddenly it won't work at all. I cannot reconnect any client or connect any new clients whenever this happens.
I noticed that when this happens, my EAP245 shows 100% utilization on the 5GHz band and less than 10% on the 2.4GHz band. I have no explanation as to how the 5GHz band manages 100% utilization since there are only 5-6 devices using 5GHz in parallel.
How I fix this currently is just by rebooting that AP via the Omada Controller interface. Is there any way to debug my issue? It's pretty much impossible to find any meaningful logs except for the "EAP245 disconnected" and "EAP245 reconnected" which happens after I manually reboot the AP.
Anytime this happens, I of course also check the band usage history of that specific AP and it's always a sudden spike. So usually my usage is around 10%, but out of nowhere the 5GHz band spikes to 100% which then breaks my WiFi.
Would really appreciate any help in finding the culprit here.
Kind regards
