I use with my Rang Extender as access point .ther is cable network frome my router to Rang Extended.When I checked the the internet speed by phon is very poor like 50 m.b in 

2.4GHz .and if I work with 5 GHz the speed is like 400 M.B . MY CONNECTION WIFI IS 600 M.B and I want to use with 2.4GHz because my TV is far away from Rang Extender

please help

May I know what is the model and hardware issue of your router? Please refer to:

How to find the model number of your TP-Link device 

How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device

 

If you are experiencing the low speed when using the range extender in access point mode, please refer to the following steps:
1. Make sure the speed is normal when PC is connected to the same Ethernet port of the front router.
2. Try a different Ethernet cable or port on the router.
3. Change the wireless channel and channel width.

Hi gosef

Thanks for your response the MODEL is RE505X and ver:2.0 .The speed with my PC is as with a phon.

I try to change the channel to 1 from auto and Did not improve the situation .the channel width is auto. and I can chang to 20MHz or 40MHz

the cable net and port is fine please advice
