Model: Archer AX3000   RE550
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Good day ALL,

i have issues with the EasyMesh setup of my AX53 router (main router) and RE550 extender (satellite).

in my Ax53 main router which is in the living room, i have enabled the WIFI SSID smart setup which combines 2.4 & 5.0 GHz, and is easy for each devices not to change WIFI all the time.

in the RE550 extender in the bedroom area, in which i setup in EasyMesh as satellite router, it does extend the WIFI in my room.

my issue is that whenever my device connect back to the Ax53 router, the wifi suddenly disconnects itself.

when in RE550, the wifi connects smoothly and no issues.

is there anything that triggers this issue? Anything in the setup that could affect? Please advise.

Hi@Hckkrszk,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Could you confirm again what is the model number and hardware version of your router?

How to find the model number of your TP-Link device

How to find the hardware and firmware version of my TP-Link device

In the Easymesh compatible list, there has no Archer AX3000 V3.

You can go to Mesh list to see is the RE550 under it. If you create an Easymesh network, the wireless name and password of extender should be the same as the main router.
