but I cannot find any clients at all here. There is a client in the Mac App Store, but it is different.

I don't think macOS will ever be supported.
All the downloads about the Omada Software are listed on the App Store. If you don't have this software in the App Store, we don't have any other source for download.
If it is not in the App Store, it means it is not developed or available in your country. Likely the first reason.
WireGuard got its official software. Using that can also make a VPN link.
