Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.2.6

I have ER605 v2.0 and TL-R605 v1.0 that is managed in my Omada Cloud 5.15.24.14. each of this router is in different site. The configuration are identical. The Primary ER605 V2.0 is active while the TL-R605 v1.0 standby. Basically its just TL-R605 v1.0 LAN interface not physically connected. In the event of failure, i can do cold failover (where will manual connect the Secondary LAN interface into my switch).

I know how VRRP works as Im an Network Engineer.  I just want to understand if whats the use case of this feature in Omada if we can't place two routers in one site? Or is this only applicable to L3 switch only?

  @Wifi-freak

There is no reason why a site cannot exist on two routers. This was never implemented. It's the design to use a single router per site.

VRRP is not available for the router yet.

Would it be possible to get VRRP added as a feature request somewhere?

You can go to the request page and create a post. But I think this was mentioned in others request posts. You might need to look it up before your post.
