Model: TL-SG1008P
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

I have just installed this hardware and seems to be running pretty smoothly. However I have a question regarding Orange LEDs. My connections are as follows:

Port 8 - link to router - Green LED

Port 7 - PC - Green LED

(both of these are right next to the switch)

Port 6 - Sony Bravia TV - Orange LED

Port 5 - Denon Receiver - Orange LED

(both of these are wired from the lounge room 5-10 metres away)

Should I be expecting the TV and Denon to be Green not Orange?

If so then is there anything I should be checking?

Thanks in advance

  @Phil_Turnbull

Orange means the link speed is 100Mbps. You can find this information in the user guide or installation guide.

If that's orange, meaning either your device does not support 1Gbps or your cable is the problem.

  @Clive_A

After checking, both the Sony Bravia and Denon have 100mbps NIC so not much I can do there (and it's not really required to be faster at this point in time). The only reason I checked here was that this is the 1st switch I've used that has the connection info displayable. Thanks for the help.
