I am using the ER7206 v1.0 with a SG2428P v5.30 switch and EAP670(US) v1.0 AP.  Envrionment is a dental office.

 

When I go to the client list, it can filter by All, Wireless, Wired or IPCs/NVRs.  The list include 4 items as both IPCs/NVRs and Wired that are not cameras in any way.  One is a Windows 10 file & database server and 3 are windows 11 client PCs. I have tried to hit the rescan button and they remain.

1) any fix?

2) does this classification actually do anything?  I am trying to troubleshoot a networking issue so want to cross this off the list.

Thanks Vincent, rebooting didn't help but I was able to change it manually.  Anyway to change the type of more than one machine at a time?  Thx.

Did you try rebooting the wired PCs? Will it make any difference?

 

In addition, please manually change the mentioned clients to the correct type:

Glad to hear that manually changing Device Type fixed the issue.

 

currently, we can't batch change the device type.
