Slow internet connection when passing thru TP LINK switch

my setup
MODEM <> ROUTER <> SG1218MP <> PC
- We have around 600Mbps internet BW.
- router is connected to port 17
- my pc is connected to one of available lan ports and when performing speed test. i only got max 90Mbps
- connecting my pc directly to router, i can get 500Mb+ speed
any tips in resolving slow connection when traffic passing thru tp link switch?

@Clive_A already performed those instructions but still getting slow speeds. no other problem seen aside from the tp link switch. bypassing it temporary resolves the issue. do i need a omada controller? or is it even compatible?

No. Replace the cable. As you can see from many other posts, it is all about the cable. Long cable but bad quality can cause such a thing.
100Mbps max is a typical issue with the cable if your device supports > 100Mbps.

@Clive_A i dont think cable is the issue here. for testing purposes, i am using 2 cables (both tested that can pass through 600mbps of traffic) when directly connected to my router / modem. traffic slows down when passing thru sg1218mp
