Model: EAP610
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 Build 20240830 Rel. 63168

Hi, i upgrade controller OC200v1 to latest versions, after than that i tried to update firmware of my two devices EAP610 from firmware section. But something is not going good, it seems firmware update fails and devices are stuck in "ADOPTING" and i cannot do any operation. Tried to swith off/on devicers, but nothing change!

Maybe devices stucked in "ADOPOTING" after controller upgrade, i didn't checked it.

What i should do?

I can see EAPs have now 192.168.0.254 ip address, that is different subnet then before and different respect OC200. Why they are not getting DHCP address?

Checked from my dhcp server, they send DHCPDISCOVER but not DHCPREQUEST. I suspect this is a bug of new firmware version.

Ok, i had to came back to 1.5.0 firmware to restore all.

Version 1.6.0 Build 20250507 Rel. 66340 don't allow device to get IP trough DHCP and device get fallback ip 192.168.0.254.

Hi  @Antony23

Where did you get the 1.6.0 version for EAP610 V3?

Or are you saying the pre-release version 1.8.50 from the following post?

 EAP610 | EAP613 Pre-release Firmware Adapted to Omada Controller v6.1 (Released on 4th Jul, 2025)
