Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I newly bought a ER7212PC and have setup 2 vlans - the default vlan1 and an additional vlan10.

Both are marked on the LAN5 port.

I want to use this LAN5 port as an trunk port to my Acces Point (from another brand).

In Device-setting I've selected the PVID 1 as I cannot select both vlans.

My question is how do I setup LAN5 as trunk port?

best regards,

  @highlife_01

VLAN created on the Omada router would be automatically tag on the ports.

In another sense, it will be automatically tagged.

It is tagged and trunked automatically. The router in controller mode does not provide the manual config interface.

Common Questions About 802.1Q VLAN

Plug the AP and set the SSID VLAN, it'll work straight.

Should I setup a port profile in "wired network"->LAN->switch profile?

Switch profile, as the literal meaning says.

It is intended for the Omada switch.

  @ungki

I sorry if I misunderstand your question.

I set the PVID ind Devices->Click on the ER7212PC->Select Ports->eg. LAN 6

In the Settings->Wired Networks->VLAN I select the same LAN port for all of the VLANS I'll to trunk to the LAN-port:

When you add a network in Omada, it is automatically added as a tagged vlan to whatever ports you select it to exist on when making the vlan

Unless you change directly what router port has what pvid, they will all be built up as trunk ports

Main: ER8411 x1, SG3428X x1, SG3452 x1, SG2428LP x1, SG3210 x1, SG2218P x1, SG2008P x3, ES208G x1, EAP650 x6 Remote: ER7206 v2 x1, ER605 v2 x3, SG2008P x2, EAP650 x2, ES205G x1 Controller: OC300
