Background: I have a pair of TL-AP1901GP v1.0 which are the outdoor wireless AP. I use them to extend my network to another location so the first device was setup as an AP, the second one was setup as a WDS for bridging the network resouces from the AP.

 

Current Situation: Previously, the AP and WDS were configured using web browser by typing their local IP addresses. The AP share my network resources to the WDS via Wifi 5G connection. The WDS was configured to conect to the AP via searching the SSID of the AP.    Today, I have enabled TP-Link Commercial Network Cloud Platform feature on the AP, the SSID settings lost after enabling it and then the connection between the AP and WDS lost. I had to add back the SSID settings on the AP and then the connection with the WDS back to normal.

 

Question: What if I enable TP-Link Commercial Network Cloud Platform feature on the WDS? will the connection with the AP lose too? How can I fix the settings remotely if the connection between WDS and AP lost? Thanks.

 

Edit: Understand that this model is not being sold in global market. Please share your experience or knowledge from similar models since AP-WDS and TP-Link Commercial Network Cloud Platform are common.
