Background:

 

This post provides a configuration guide on VoIP.

 

This Article Applies to:

 

Omada routers with VoIP capability.  Especially, the DR- series models.

 

Configuration Steps:

 

1. Log in to your router. Go to the VoIP tab and Add a new number.

 

 

2. If your provider is listed, make sure you select the matching provider and input the information. 

 

 

 

3. If your provider is NOT listed, select Other. Then, manually configure your VoIP settings.

 

Phone Number: The number you use to dial and answer.
Registrar Address: Usually a domain name of the VoIP register server, if not, an IP address.
Authentication ID and Password: Not necessary information, but if you have them, fill them in.

 

Attention! For Advanced parameters, if the VoIP provider does not provide this information, please click OK directly.

 

Registrar Port: Typically 5060, unless the VoIP provider specifies a different port.

SIP Proxy: Usually the domain name of the SIP Proxy Server, if not, an IP address.

SIP Proxy Port: Typically 5060, unless the VoIP provider specifies a different port.

Outbound Proxy: Usually the domain name of the Outbound Proxy Server, if not, an IP address.

Outbound Proxy Port: Typically 5060, unless the VoIP provider specifies a different port.

Register via Outbound Proxy: Typically not required to enable. By default, it is enabled. You can consult with your provider regarding this setting.
