Hi  @URL

Thanks for the feedback.

You mean that the ones displayed on the ports have their IP addresses and MAC addresses shown in the client list, while those not displayed on the switch ports also don’t show their IP and MAC addresses in the client list? Is it a one-to-one correspondence?

What are the types of clients that are displayed? And what types are the ones not displayed? Also, can these clients without displayed IPs access the internet normally?

I am meaning that some devices have their MAC and "type" of client available and on other ports that can be seen are active, no client data is being shown.

Many thanks

Dear TP-Link Omada Team,

After updating the Omada Controller to the latest version, upload and download traffic are visible only on the native VLAN. For other VLANs, clients show “Connected” but no traffic data appears.

Please confirm if this is a known issue or if any configuration changes are required.

  @Vincent-TP

I dont want to let the 2nd dns server empty - because some devices use another dns server if only one is provided by dhcp.

this is a configuration in vlan 192.168.0.X - i can confirm that i can configure to use on NTP Server if its in the same network.

You can create ACL rules that:

1. Allow only the DNS server you configured (add an IP-Port Group); and

2. Deny all DNS servers (deny all port 53)

This way, clients will always use the DNS server you've configured in the ACL allow rule. Then if they change their DNS server other than what is allowed, they'll lose internet connection.

 Hi @Vincent-TP,

Today I decided to disable cluster for a while and I noticed new options were available for EAP215 bridge in my omada controller. Do you think this could be a bug?

Hi  @black_azrael

Thank you for your feedback. Do you remember how other types of SDN devices behave? Is it only EAP that’s like this, or are all devices, such as GW and SW, the same?

Hi @Vincent-TP, I have different flavours of EAPs, EAP-215-bridge kit has been the only one that had this kind of behavoir. I never had added this model, we are testing it, and this was added in cluster mode, maybe this could be a hint. Configuration options were shown after disabling cluster mode. Regards
