Model: Archer AX1500   RE450
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.9 Build 20230728 Rel. 45716(4555)

I have a router and an extender RE450.

I also have a Sonos system. It works all great when listening to Spotify, but when listening to Radio Sonso goes silent from time to time.... I have talked to Sonos support and they have checked logs, they claim it is due to poor network.

However, the Sonos speaker is 3 meters away from the extender, and it should have great network.

I have tried to change firmware. If I go with the latest firmware I believe that the issues is more frequent.

Is there away to improve my situation? Can I assign a specific channel to my sonos system? Or what else can I do?

Apreciate any help :.)

Hello @Avskedsfest ,

Welcome to our community.

Are other clients of RE450 running stably? Here are some suggestions that may help you:

    1) Make sure the Router is properly placed; it should be put in an open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.
    2) Change the wireless channel to another one. You may refer to
Changing Channel and Channel Width on a TP-Link Router (new logo).
    3) Change channel width to avoid interference. For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust the 2.4GHz channel width to 20MHz; for 5 GHz wireless client devices, adjust the 5GHz channel width to 80MHz or 40MHz, etc.

   4) Try to connect the speaker to the main router for comparison.

Best Regards.
