OC300 EAP 615 Wall
Hallo, der OC200 kann einen EAP 615 Wall als Wireless Mesh Client einbinden.
Der OC300 kann das nicht.
Hat jemand eine Idee?
Der Support rät den EAP 615 zu resetten, was natürlich nicht das Problem beseitigt hat und auch nicht beseitigen kann.
Alle Geräte haben die aktuellste Firmware.

The EAP615-Wall supports mesh. It is compatible with both the OC200 and OC300.
Please share with a screenshot of the SDN devices you are using so we could know the firmware version of them.

In diesem Fall konnte der eMail-Support einmal helfen.
Ich hatte die EAP 610 outdoor beim OC300 auf "Outdoor" gesetzt.
Dabei wird der Kanal 36, der für die Meshkonfiguration benötigt wird abgeschaltet und kann auch nicht aktiviert werden.
Beim OC200 war der EAP610 auf "default" gesetzt.
Daher konnter hier der EAP615 erkannt werden, weil der Kanal 36 dabei aktiv ist.
Weshalb das so ist, weiß ich nicht. Nach meinem begrenztem Verständnis sollte es ja eher umgekehrt sein.
Nun habe ich die EAP`s beim OC300 alle wieder auf "default" oder "indoor" geht auch, gestzt und der EAP 615 wird erkannt.
Die EAP 610 untereinander finden sich auch im Kanalbereich ab 100, so daß es da keine Probleme gab.
Warum das so progremmiert wurde, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, aber nun funktioniert das Mesh zwischen EAP 610 und EAP615.

der OC 300 mit der aktuellen Firmware kann z.B. EAP 610 outdoor ins Mesh einbinden aber keinen EAP 615 Wall. Letzterer erscheint per Wlan nicht in der Geräteübersicht und kann daher nicht adoptiert werden
ein OC 200 mit der aktuellen Firmware kann sowohl die EAP 610 outdoor und den EAP 615 Wall ins Mesh einbinden

Thanks for the reply. The EAP615-wall supports mesh.Please refer to the following to troubleshoot:
Swap the installation location of the mesh EAP and the wiring EAP and see if the issue is coming with the location, or the unit itself.
If it comes with the location, please make sure to troubleshoot below:
1) Move the Mesh EAP closer to the uplink EAP;
2) Avoid obstacles and wireless interference between the uplink EAP and mesh EAP;
3) Change the channel of the uplink EAP, please test on different channels;
4) Choose different uplink EAP units.
5) Make sure the firmware version of the EAP and the controller are up-to-date.
If it comes with the EAP unit itself, you may contact your retailer to check the warranty.

Happy to hear that you had finally worked it.
This is because the EAP615-wall EU version doesn't support channel 100.
We should choose a channel that both EAP615-wall and EAP610-outdoor support, and 36 is one of them.
