  @Vincent-TP It's Nord. I can connect to the app and camera just fine using Nord if LAN isolation is disabled.

Hi  @ceejaybassist

Thanks for the reply.

I believe it's the VPN connection's reason.

What kind of VPN are you connecting to?

Just for a comparison test, will isolated VLAN work when using the phone's mobile data?

What if using the mobile data of the phone? Before checking, please exit the Tapo APP from background.

It's not mobile data, but I am connected to a VPN. I cannot access it.

To verify, are all the Tapo cameras showing offline?

Yes. All cameras are offline.

If turn off isolated VLAN, will they back online?

Yes. It immediately goes back online.

  @jra11500 No. My phone is on separate VLAN. But I can access it through the app even outside my local network so I should be able to access it through the app even if LAN isolation is enabled on the CCTV VLAN coz it isn't blocking outgoing traffic, which it said in the UI. But I can't. It may be blocking some ougoing traffic that's necessariy for the Tapo Camera to communicate with the app.

  @ceejaybassist

Is your device running the app connected to your CCTV VLAN?  I have other cameras here with their own app and the app does not work for local access if the app device (iPhone, in my case)  is not connected to the same subnet.

  @GRL It says  "The Isolated network will only access the internet and cannot communicate with other networks.", so I thought outgoing traffic isn't blocked.

Probably related to the discussion here https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/841842

Vincent / Ethan - this feature needs some optimization and to be made a little less agressive i think
