Hi  @GRL

Thanks for the feedback.

I had created a support ticket to further follow up this situation, the case ID is TKID250939312.

Please kindly check your email inbox and get back to us. Thank you.

I have a similar issue

Mine are keeping the icons, but losing the custom name i gave them in the list, but if i click on them, it shows the configured name...but only on wifi clients.  wired clients return the name properly in the list.  Also, the displayed name not being what i set it to isnt consistent.  Some of them are listed as the correct name,. others not.  On a mix of switch only VLANs and GAteway interface vlans as well.

Hi  @WtrN06

Compared to other hardware controllers,, OC200 is relatively weaker in performance. Excluding this feature is to ensure stable operation.

If we forcibly add this function, performance limitations may trigger other issues and compromise core functionalities. Therefore, it is unlikely that this feature will be added to the OC200 in the future.

If you require these functions, we recommend upgrading to a higher-performance hardware controller, such as OC220, OC300, or switching to software controller.

We appreciate your understanding.

I notice that the OC200 is not getting all the love in this firmware:

  • Added support for OLT adoption and management in Controller cluster mode (all models, production firmware scheduled for 2025-Q3). OC200 is excluded.
  • Optimized wireless client on/off-line detection for AP6.0 firmware, reducing controller notification latency to 0–5 seconds. OC200 is excluded.

Is this the moment where the OC200 starts losing functionality over higherend models with newer firmware or are these features added later on?

  @Vincent-TP

Done, debug logs enabled, names changes, running log sent.

Its still flakey on my completely built-from-scratch site, so its not an effect of going from 5.15 to 6.0 on an existing site.

Main: ER8411 x1, SG3428X x1, SG3452 x1, SG2428LP x1, SG3210 x1, SG2218P x1, SG2008P x3, ES208G x1, EAP650 x6 Remote: ER7206 v2 x1, ER605 v2 x3, SG2008P x2, EAP650 x2, ES205G x1 Controller: OC300

Added support for LAN Isolation as a new VLAN configuration option in Site > Network Config > LAN > Isolation Settings and Site > Network Config > LAN > VLAN > Add/Edit for Gateway devices running firmware version 6.0.

@Vincent-TP I am trying this on my CCTV VLAN. But I did lose connectivity from it. My CCTVs are Tapo Cameras and I'm using the app. But it is being tagged as offline in the app, meaning, there's no outgoing packets.

Probably related to the discussion here https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/841842

Vincent / Ethan - this feature needs some optimization and to be made a little less agressive i think

Main: ER8411 x1, SG3428X x1, SG3452 x1, SG2428LP x1, SG3210 x1, SG2218P x1, SG2008P x3, ES208G x1, EAP650 x6 Remote: ER7206 v2 x1, ER605 v2 x3, SG2008P x2, EAP650 x2, ES205G x1 Controller: OC300

@GRL It says  "The Isolated network will only access the internet and cannot communicate with other networks.", so I thought outgoing traffic isn't blocked.

It depends what its blocking, which we dont really know

Is your device running the app connected to your CCTV VLAN?  I have other cameras here with their own app and the app does not work for local access if the app device (iPhone, in my case)  is not connected to the same subnet.

@jra11500 No. My phone is on separate VLAN. But I can access it through the app even outside my local network so I should be able to access it through the app even if LAN isolation is enabled on the CCTV VLAN coz it isn't blocking outgoing traffic, which it said in the UI. But I can't. It may be blocking some ougoing traffic that's necessariy for the Tapo Camera to communicate with the app.
