With the App Store Update 5.0.54, released today, 19.10.2025, the incompatibility issue of the Omada app seems to fixed for the hardware and software controller

Hi  @Artur.Aragao ,

This feature has been around for a long time. I have a combination of oc200 and er605. Go to Settings > LAN > LAN DNS (tab)

  @Vincent-TP

Dear all,

Will the Local DNS feature be introduced with the ER605 V2?

I just saw a post from some users who received this feature this year, but I don't know if it will happen or not.

I consider this feature VERY welcome.

I REALLY need it.

  @KBhuva

Is this it? I think it's now possible in my OC200. I may be wrong if this is that feature you're referring to, but I can change the topology layout to be in vertical or horizontal view.

HI,

As per Rotate topology feature request - Business Community it turns out the feature I requested for has been released (not mentioned in the release logs though) but based on a user @MR.S confirmed that his onprem hosted controller on Windows and Linux has the topology view different from mine which is a Hardware controller OC400.

The Dashboard views are different and features vary.

Confirmed I am running the V6.x controller below snapshot confirms the firmware version/Build

Is this how its meant to be with varied differences of features released on hosted, cloud and hardware?

Hi @Julian2111,

I have this problem on the OC300 controller version 1.31.7 Build 20250923 Rel.33763, and the ER7206 v2.20 gateway version 2.2.3 Build 20250723 Rel.05551

  @denis-odessit I experienced the same, but they only appear in the UI as offline, even when I click on them, the controller says last active a minute ago.

My Router is the ER8411 and the OC220. But after like 30-60 Minutes everything is fine again.

But with the release from the 28. September that seems to be fixed, at least I never logged in and had that clients are offline problem.

Hi  @Vincent-TP ,

Some LAN clients are detected as disconnected, but they are 100 percent online, and I can access them and ping them, even the switch they are connected to also shows that the devices are online.

I connected to omada through a server that is shown as disconnected, and omada displays an icon indicating which client I connected through.

  @Tlezeed

Yeah, because the "1" in there is the number of AP the in that particular signal range (measured in average), and not the number of clients. Hover the mouse cursor to that "1", and you'll see the number of clients.
