The V5 app for android is now released. Not available yet in Google Playstore, though, at least in my case.

So I updated it through external source such as this: https://omada.en.uptodown.com/android.

Dear all,

It's great that you want to solve your problem and even help others.

However, I strongly recommend against downloading Omada apps unless they're from official sources.

These apps from unofficial sources may have been manipulated to create a backdoor or worse.

Stay tuned. Okay?

When you send a 'test email' under Mail Server, the Sender Email is not used — instead, the Username is used. However, for actual alerts, the Sender Email is used.

This caused some confusion for me. When you click on 'Test Email', the sender should display the email address specified under Sender Email.

Hi  @ikheetjeff

Thanks for your feedback.

Some users prefer to hide their email addresses, while others don't. Based on your needs, I recommend directly setting the Username as the Sender email.

  @Vincent-TP

Oops!

The saga continues. LOL

My router on WAN2 went down in the early hours of the morning and came back up a little later. The router's status was Accessible, and the ER605 V2 reported Offline Detection.

I turned my carrier router on WAN2 off and on again, and it managed to return to Online status as soon as it came back online.

This detection status on the ER605 V2 isn't able to retrieve the real status of the carrier routers.

So, we have two obvious problems:
1- Something is causing the ER605's resources to stagnate to the point of affecting the load balancer's operation and possibly even other resources;

2- The real status of a carrier router reconnection isn't being effectively understood, where the router is working perfectly, but the WAN1 or WAN2 port isn't properly recognized by the device's firmware.

UPDATE

Internet access went down and then returned a little later, but the status remained offline in Detection.

It only returned when I turned the router off and on again.

Another issue occurred later in the day. I followed the same process, but this time the status remained offline.

  @ceejaybassist

Just wanted to mention that when I logged into the controller today I can now see the topolgy view and dashbaords all udpated to what guys are seeing.

weirdly I cant understand why it was not updated earlier, which saying that I did try different browsers thinking it was something related... anyway all good and thank to all that suggested options.
