  @Vincent-TP

Dear all,

I'm returning here to apologize profusely.

I spent the day analyzing the load balancing issue and discovered the error. It was a configuration on the second router.

I discovered it by switching the positions of the WAN1 and WAN2 ports, and soon after, I noticed that the status that had previously been on the WAN2 port was now the same on the WAN1 port.

Opening the carrier's router settings, I realized the DNS configuration was incorrect. I reconfigured the router, and everything is working perfectly now.

It was my carelessness. I'm very embarrassed by this and deeply appreciate your attention and understanding thus far.

I ask that you do not pursue this further and focus on the other issues the community is raising.

I apologize again.

WAN1                                                                                                WAN2

  @Artur.Aragao look under gloabl settings - controller settings and enable client detection that fixed it for wireless clients though

  @Julian2111

Are you referring to the "Client Recognition" item?

But right next to it, there's clear information that requires enabling "Cloud Access."

There must be a way to do this without enabling this feature.

Is that correct?

Hi  @WifiStand

Prohibit WiFi Sharing is a feature added from Omada Controller 5.15.  This requires EAP had firmware adapted to 5.15 or above.

EAP110 and EAP225-outdoor don't have a firmware which supported this feature.

If you need this feature, you may turn to EAP610-outdoor and EAP610

Hi,  @Vincent-TP

New firmware version 1.1.0 has been released for the ER7412-m2 router, which implements a fix for DHCP options 66/67. Unfortunately, option 66, the TFTP server IP, isn't passed in the next server - it's the router's IP instead. If specify the full address for the boot file in option 67, tftp://tftp_server_ip/boot_file, pxe boot works with iPXE in virtual machine, but unfortunately this workaround does not work on BIOS PXE.
It looks like the controller isn't setting option 66 in the router.

@Vincent-TP

PXE boot works perfectly, you need to fill in the DHCP Next Server field in the advanced options of the controller - TFTP server IP, similarly to the router's GUI in standalone mode.
I also described the situation in the thread to which I provided a link in the post above.

  @Vincent-TP

It seems that tp-link released the firmware update (version 1.3.3 Build 20251013 Rel. 44647) for ER8411 v1.0, which shows Recommended Controller Version: 5.15.20. However, it is not seen by the OC300 Controller (1.0) having FW version 1.31.7 Build 20250923 Rel.33763 (6.0.0.31). Is this expected that the beta version will not be able to detect and download the applicable firmware updates for the VPN routers, which are released recently?

  @QuestorA The ER7412-M2 didn't find the firmware on my OC300 either. I think there's a lag. I downloaded the firmware and installed. Works fine for me.
