Model: ER707-M2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

I recently upgraded from an ER605 to a ER707-M2. I had an L2TP server setup on the ER605 and have the exact same one on the ER707-M2. It worked on the old router and not on the new one. I tried all the port forwarding stuff I can think of, is L2TP just broken on the ER707-M2?  Running latest 1.3.1 Fe.

Port forward? You shouldn't use it, delete all port forwarders and try again.

@MR.S I've tried both with and without port forwarding. Broken both ways.

Its has been reported by a few people, and Mr.S and I had a fairly lengthy thread going on regarding L2TP VPNs hosted on ER605 being broken in recent firmware releases - depending on what gateway is used to connect to the VPN

I did a test with my ER707-M2, it works with L2TP, firmware version on the router is 1.3.1 Build 20251009 Rel.67687
