Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi everyone, i am having difficulty to get internet on my ER7206.
I was previously using a tp link archer model to get internet. I have key in the same information but unfortunately can't seem to get internet.

The connection is made since the connection status changed to connected. An important parameter is the Vlan id equal to 621. The problem start when I tried to ping 8.8.8.8 (or any other address) on WAN2 in the diagnostics page of the router, the result shows some timeout. When checking the system logs, the connection seems to be made , an IP address is provided, however I noticed that the dns address passed is 0.0.0.0 even if 8.8.8.8 was set on the wan config page. I tried various tests: changed the dns local internet provider dns without success, also changed mtu/mru to a smaller value. Also deactivated all firewall features without success. I don't see which other parameters could affect me being unable to ping 8.8.8.8 or any other address. Any ideas are welcome

Thank you for your post.
Apart from running the built-in diagnostic ping, have you also tried pinging from a PC connected behind the router?
What is the current firmware version on your router?
Do the other WAN ports exhibit the same issue, or is it limited to WAN2?
Please also try rebooting the upstream modem and, if possible, clone the Archer router’s MAC address.
From your screenshot, WAN2 has obtained a private IP instead of a public one.
Finally, check whether any ACL rules or similar settings might be affecting the connection.
