Hello,

I would like to inquire about impacts of enabling SNMP, specifically SNMPv1&v2c.

According to the user manual one may only configure Get Community and Get Trusted Host.

The descriptions heavily suggest these only enable Read-Only Access to the configured Get Community/the trusted Host serving as the Get-Community. However, I was not able to confidently verify my assumption is correct via the documentation.

Is that the case? If no, where would a Read-Write access be opened and configured, when SNMPv1&v2c is enabled, so I can assure we do not accidentally open up a Write-Interface in the network.

Thank you for your post. After configuring the trusted host, only the specified IP can access the device’s SNMP information in read-only mode. Currently, the device only supports read-only SNMP access; write permissions are not configurable.
