I have read several articles about ES205G / GP not showing IP addresses of connected clients when working in controller mode. Sadly, issue still persists, because recently I installed ES205G in my network, adopted it through controller and... bang, I can't see the address of some clients:

 

 

SharpTV - connected to SG2218 - fine.

SharpTV2 - connected to ES205G, not fine.

 

Setup: ER605->SG2218->ES205G, OC200 plugged directly into the router.

 

So, do we have any updates? Any future plans to get it working properly?

  Hi @Happy_x50 , it is limit by chipset resource, it is basically the same with unmanaged switch, you can check this. Agile Switches vs. Access Switches: Which Omada Switch Do You Need? - Business Community

That is so sad! There are plenty of places to pull client ip from in this case - ip-mac binding for example.

 

Any future plans to deal with it one way or another? Lack of client ip is funny and annoying at the same time.

  @Happy_x50 Sorry, it is limit by chipset, you may see the ip of downlink client by check gateway ip client list. Also if you want ip-mac binding, ES205G also don't support it. You may need use other switch like SG2008.
