Please note that range extenders are designed to expand WiFi coverage, but they do not boost your internet speed. In fact, devices connected through an extender typically experience speeds that are about 50% slower compared to a direct connection to your router. This is because data must travel over two wireless hops: Device ⇄ Extender ⇄ Router.
 

To help improve your speed, please try the following steps:
1. Assign a different SSID to the extender’s 5GHz band and connect your device to it. This can sometimes improve speed, especially if your device supports 5GHz WiFi.
