Hi  @JamesWDStewart

Thanks for getting back.

@Vincent-TP Yea, it still freezes when I hover over one of the Top 5 Clients by Traffic devices.  I'm using Chrome v143.0.7499.170 on Windows 11 Pro.  Yea, it happens in an Incognito window as well.

OC300 upgraded with 1.32.8 Build 20251231 Rel.3918.  Huge problem! - I can no longer select any device for configuration changes.

Update:  After rebooting the controller, I can now select the devices.  I don't know why I had to reboot the controller as it usually reboots after a firmware upgrade without any user intervention.

Thanks for the feedback. May I know more details about the issue? What will happen when you trying to select a device? It didn't respond, or what you made changes but they won't apply?

  @Vincent-TP

When the issue occurred, I could hover the mouse pointer over a device but could not select it.  Clicking the mouse had no effect.

I just experienced the same issue on my HP laptop (Win 11 Home) using the Chrome web browser.  Using MS Edge the problem does not occur.  Hovering over the first two clients works OK but when I position the mouse over the third (or fourth or fifth) client, the page freezes and a browser message appears stating that the OC300 has failed to respond.  If it matters, the laptop is connected via Wi-Fi.

@JamesWDStewart

30 minutes = 10 minutes for full configuration + 10 minutes for scheduled tasks + 10 minutes for random delays.

It’s normal to encounter this situation during major version updates. Thank you for your feedback.

The dashboard is working now, I'm surprised but it's good as long as it works.

EDIT:

The switches are working now; it took 30 minutes for everything.

Hi  @jra11500

Thanks for the feedback. To confirm, will this happen every time when using Chrome?

@Vincent-TP I'd replied in the ticket that it wasn't freezing this morning, but it's started doing it again.  Probably, within a half hour or so of my reply to that ticket.

Hi  @JamesWDStewart

Thanks for the info.

Next time the issue occurs, please refer to the guide to collect the information we mentioned in the ticket. We need the information to identify the cause. Thanks.

Yes, it happens every time.  I just tested it again and it is still occurring.

Update:  I just tested this on another HP computer (this time, an all-in-one model) with the same Win 11 OS and the same (latest) Chrome version and everything is OK.  Returning to the laptop, clearing the Chrome cache, the problem continues.  It is an odd problem and may be hard to pinpoint.  Good luck!

I think there are some issues with controller 6.1 and how it interacts with the latest builds of just chrome

I have been having a back and forth with support about another issue in the GUI that isnt working reliably, and i just narrowed it down to chrome.  Even if i disable all my extensions etc, it doesnt work right.  Switch to firefox (with tons of extensions enabled) and it works perfectly.

In my case Chome wont reliably allow me to open a terminal in Manage Device > Tools > Terminal, and generates spurious "Websocket not connected errors"

Support already have all the info needed from me so no need to log it again.  Just a heads up that something is wonky with chrome interaction

  @Vincent-TP Hi,

Upgraded to V6.1 today and can no longer assign static ip's out of the pool range?

Most of my networks are setup like this, I'll extend the range for now.
