Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.1.11

I've got a very odd problem, I'm getting duplicate SSID's randomly the correct secured one and then a unsecured duplicate SSID that vanishes after a few seconds but then returns, the site is running 5 access points (2 x EAP115-Wall v1 fw 5.0.4, 1 x EAP225 v3 fw 5.1.11, 1 x EAP235-Wall v1 fw 3.2.5, 1 x EAP110-Outdoor v3 fw 5.1.3)  with a local OC200 v1 fw 1.37.11, the gateway is a ER605 v1 fw 1.3.2, and two switches sg2428p v1 fw 1.1.15, sg2008 v1 fw 1.0.13, there's 3 vlans and 3 isp connections, there's also a l2tp vpn connection to another Omada network.

Does anyone have any advice or similar experience

Thank you for your

Hi @jezpgreat,

Things to do...

  • Confirm all the AP's using the same WLAN Group.
  • Confirm there's not a rogue AP with that SSID (disable SSID on all APs)
  • Disable/enable that SSID on individual APs to isolate the issue to specific AP(s)

Hi  @jezpgreat

Thanks for posting here.

I want to confirm more details:

1. then a unsecured duplicate SSID that vanishes after a few seconds but then returns,

>>>Will this SSID continue to broadcast afterwards? If so, could you please provide a screenshot?

2. Did you check all of your wireless clients? Will the unsecured SSID displaying on all of them?

3. Can you connect to it and connect to the Internet?

4. Do all the access points broadcasting it?
