Warnings in the logs every 30 seconds are driving me crazy
Hi
I'm breaking my head over these 2 errors that keep appearing every 30 seconds in my log:
01-05-2026 18:44:18.462 INFO [client-inform-work-group-2] [] c.t.s.o.c.p.c.n(): com.tplink.smb.omada.client.port.cache.n$b: Lan network does not exist, OmadacId: 5c4555ae84bc2b554b180e2ead37c0b3, SiteId: 695bcb5a5fa1f14f446f6b1c, vid:0
AND
01-05-2026 18:46:20.668 WARN [https-jsse-nio-8043-exec-2] [] c.t.s.o.m.p.m.d.o.o(): Osw 30-DE-4B-B0-1E-A9 with omadac 5c4555ae84bc2b554b180e2ead37c0b3 ports or lags is null.
Can you please tell me I'm not going crazy and this is a bug?
My setup is 1 Omada switch (SG2016P v1.20) and 4 AP's (1x EAP723 and 3x EAP725-wall). All on the lastest firmware.
My router/firewall is OPNsense and I don't use any VLANs at all...
I'm running the software controller v6.0.0.25.
I already removed my site completely and started 100% fresh to end with the exact same logs...
Kind regards
Sammy Verdonck

The logs show up in the `server.log` logs files from the controller which are logged to disk. The docker image shows those logs by default. To reproduce the "ports or lags is null" message, it's either call the API to list devices, such as `/api/v2/sites/${SITE_ID}/devices` or navigate to the devices page. The two devices I get logs back about are my two switches:
01-07-2026 09:06:01.160 WARN [https-jsse-nio-443-exec-2] [] c.t.s.o.m.p.m.d.o.o(): Osw 98-BA-5F-62-CF-D8 with omadac 1884487c406a9ac81b80b4f25313c67a ports or lags is null.
01-07-2026 09:06:01.161 WARN [https-jsse-nio-443-exec-2] [] c.t.s.o.m.p.m.d.o.o(): Osw E0-D3-62-46-C2-9A with omadac 1884487c406a9ac81b80b4f25313c67a ports or lags is null.
I have two switches managed and they correspond to the two MAC addresses in the logs:
a SG3428X-M2 v1.20 (firmware version 1.20.15 Build 20251031 Rel.73964)
SX3008F v1.20 (firmware version 1.20.12 Build 20251031 Rel.75312)

@mbentley, 100% correct.
I have an open ticket now and I gave TPlink access to my controller/site. Hopefully they will be able to tackle both issues (ports or lags is null + Lan network does not exist, OmadacId: 5c4555ae84bc2b554b180e2ead37c0b3, SiteId: 695bcb5a5fa1f14f446f6b1c, vid:0). Tnx for following this up too!

@sammyverdonck I apologize in advance for describing everything "in layman's terms", but I think I finally know what's going on with these strange logs – maybe I'm naive, but my theory makes sense.
After updating the controller to version 6.1 - i use m.bentley controller - and comparing what's displayed in the logs with what's displayed in 6.0, I dare say that these logs are related to devices that aren't connected "directly" to the router, but rather, for example, via a PoE power supply.
Where does my theory come from? In both versions of the controller, I have one specific MAC address, and in the 6.1 logs, I see a log like "uplink port not recognized" and a second log like "something connected to the gateway" and some id numbers – in my case, only two devices match these logs and numbers, and both are connected via PoE power supplies – an external 4G router from Nokia via Nokia PoE splitter and an EAP via Tp-Link PoE splitter.
