Hello. I have an Archer BE3600 router. I also have a RE700x range extender which was struggling for signal a bit. I purchased an RE220BE range extender which is in access point mode, and wired from the router to the RE220BE. The problem is, the RE700X connects to the router, which is further away, and not the wired access point and gives a slow speed? Is there a way to force connection to the closer RE220BE?

Hello @AndyMPeck ,

Welcome to our community.

If the wireless settings of the BE3600 and RE220BE are set to different values, the RE700X needs to be reset and connected to the RE220BE's network in order to make the RE220BE's network the host network of the RE700X.
