My system has the following connected to the switch. EERO modem (port 1) synology NAS (port 2,3 bonded) - PC (port 3) tv (port 4).

 

I want to set up link adregation. However, wehen I turn it on in the switch using ports 2,3 the tv loses connection.don't understand what I'm doing wrong.  Can anyone ada209b6fe02f042d0bc29d8e8bbd22e9dvise!! TIA

This model switch only supports Static LAG

 

If your bonded NAS ports are configures as LACP ( sometimes called "Active") LAG, they are not compatible standards and a loop will form, causing network loss

 

Also, since your EERO and PC have only a single 1gig port to the switch, there is very little benefit in enabling LAG to the NAS, your other devices simply wont be able to take advantage of the aggregated bandwidth

As @GRL pointed out, if you decide to configure the NAS ports into a LAG group, you need to select Balance XOR (as shown below) instead of the default setting.
