Hello everyone,

I've recently bought new router and everything runs good. However, I'm unable to use TeamSpeak (voice communication app), It disconnects me after 10 second. Also, unable to use services that reduce your latence/ping (wtfast, GearUp, etc) Connect itself is very strong and dont have issues using all other services, I've tried to disable antivirus, firewall, etc and couldnt make it work

I didnt change any setting to my PC, apart from buying the actual router, so the issues is 99% caused by router settings, its somehow blocking it.

I've tried general troubleshooting and googled few articles - no luck at all. Updated to most recent firmware

Hoping to see if I can get help from members of this community.

Hello @DWARF ,

Welcome to our community.

Here are some suggestions that may help you:

1. Check for ISP side:
• For websites or apps, disconnect your router from the ISP modem and connect your PC directly to the modem. Try accessing TeamSpeak and the other affected services.

2. Ensure No VPN or Proxy is Enabled:
• Make sure there are no VPNs or network proxies enabled on your PC or phone, as these can sometimes interfere with certain services.

3. Change DNS Server:
• Open the TP-Link Tether app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, and change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. After updating, reconnect your device to the router to ensure the new DNS settings take effect.

4. Check Parental Control and Content Filtering:
• Review your router's Parental Control settings, including any content filtering or website blocking, to ensure these features are not restricting access to TeamSpeak or related services.

5. Review Antivirus or Real-Time Protection:
• Some TP-Link routers have "Antivirus" or "Real-Time Protection" features that might block certain websites or apps. Check the protection history to see if TeamSpeak or the latency-reducing services are being blocked. If you believe they are blocked by mistake, please contact TP-Link support for further assistance.
