ER605 url filtering is not working
Hello,
URL filtering is not working for all websites place there.
I tried URL path and keyword,
Tried with all ips or only some groups.
For example I cannot block social media sites facebook, instagram....
I tried with simple keywords, now I use complex, still not ok... the forum rules does not allow me to place the filtering rules as text, I'll place them as picture

Hi @ElPopa
May I ask what is your network topology?
The provided screenshot does not show full configuration, if possible, can you provide us with more screenshots on your URL filtering setup.

@Hank21
I already replied to TP Link support,
I translated info here
Hello,
I'll send you the requested info below about IPs and topology
It's interesting how it works.
Initially, when I set it up, it blocked them from the start.
Then, when I tried from these IPs again, I saw that they worked....
Then another day they didn't work anymore.
Today I thought about what it could be and did some tests
1. I tried to access blocked urls, they didn't work -> I use chrome browser
2. I connected to another wifi (a hotspot) that doesn't come through the router, I accessed a few sites facebook, instagram, superbet... etc... Obviously they worked
3. I didn't close the browser, I connected to the network again due to the ER605 gateway and the blocked sites still worked.
I'm sure it wasn't just the browser cache, I browsed a lot, and did new things that couldn't be in the cache, like posting on social media, uploading media... etc
The sites were no longer blocked
4. I closed the browser and opened it again, the sites are blocked again :)
I don't know how the browser bypasses the rule, maybe at a certain session, when a domain was opened and the IP for the nameserver was "resolved", it only uses the IP as the URL and no longer uses the site name, and that's how it fools the rule, interesting.

Hi @ElPopa
Thanks for the valuable feedback and the process of your tests.
However, the configuration screenshots seemed to be uploaded failed, so can you try to attach the setup information for our reference again?

I can clearly see the screenshots, are you positive they are not visible for you?

Hi @ElPopa
Yes, we are positive that we cannot see any of the configuration screenshots.
Fur further analysis, you can try to attach the screenshots here again or try to contact our local support and provide with the forum ID.
